My job is to help you declutter your space. I offer hands-on organizing and I will take away anything you wish to donate or throw away. Although I do not do house cleaning, If you would like, I will be a personal assistant: I will grocery shop, put away bags of food, go over your schedule with you. Get food going in your crock pot, drop off your dry cleaning....We can discuss my personal assisting services at your home organizing appointment.
I work in Summit, Medina, Stark and Cuyahoga Counties. I travel all over. I will drive to Akron, Canton, Cleveland and anywhere in between including Stow, Tallmadge, Hudson, Macedonia, Chagrin Falls, and anywhere else my organizing skills are needed.
I had a big task ahead of me cleaning out my folks place when they both entered hospice.
Laurie kept me on task when I drifted off reminiscing and she was flexible with regards to what we were doing.
We didn't just clean up and go through clothing and memorabilia, we rolled up old rugs, went through kitchen cupboards, discarded garage items, we loaded a 12 yard dumpster.
We cleaned up the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, garage and attic's ... so she does it all and does it well.
I love Laurie!! She has been nothing but patient, helpful, hard working, encouraging and supportive during my Home organization with her. Laurie is so personable and is a lot of fun to work with, all while getting the job done. First, we did my walk in closet and I have a lot of clothes for work, yoga, exercising and going out. She did an excellent job of sorting colors, seasons & styles. She was helpful and gentle about encouraging me to get rid of things which made it easier. She also physically took my ‘giveaway’ items so I wouldn’t have to deal with them. She made sure to ask me if I had clothes in any other places in the house to make sure we sorted and organized everything!!! She had to come back another time to help me finish the closet and it turned out beautifully. She then helped me organize our storage area in the basement. That was a long day because there were a lot of boxes and things to sort through including our Christmas decorations. Laurie never got tired or even asked for a break. She worked right through for 8 hours. We now have more useful space in our house and the areas that she helped organize are my favorite areas to use. She has a lot of great ideas to make things fit and how to organize/sort things & how to have more useful space in the house. I can’t wait to have Laurie back for our next project. I can’t say enough good things about her, this is a great service!
Laurie has been wonderful!! Showing up on time, with a cheerful nonjudgmental attitude!! Listening to what I wanted the space to be and offering helpful suggestions!! She worked around my schedule and I felt she gave me more space to live and work in!! Truly a wonderful service that I will be using again!
